Mercure Hotel Zwolle

We found the hotel easily and directions on site were clear. We were able to park easily in the large car park. The check in process was straightforward with a friendly helpful receptionist. We found our room easily, It was clean and welcoming. We especially liked being able to open a window. The bathroom was similarly clean and more spacious than we were expecting. It was good to be able to freshen up with a shower after a long drive. The supplied bathroom products were lovely. Drinks in the bar and a super evening meal were served by friendly staff. We had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed then made a leisurely start to the day. An excellent breakfast with hot food which really was hot (not always the case with buffet breakfasts). Checkout was easily accomplished with no problems and we got out of the car park without difficulty (again, not always the case elsewhere).

Easy to access, plenty of parking space. Modern spacious lobby, bar and restaurant area. Friendly staff. Room clean, decent selection of tv channels. Wifi good enough for streaming ok. Overall impression was that it was quiet, no noises from elsewhere, pipes etc. Aircon efficient. Shower pressure good.

The hotel was outside of Zwolle in the middle of the fields - lovely view in the morning onto meadows and cows, an apple tree in front of my window. I could rent a bike (from the hotel) at a good price (12.50 a day) and cycled to my meeting and to and from Zwolle. What a Dutch way to start (and end) your day! The room was regular in size, with a desk (I did use), good enough desk lamps, a small fridge, and a tea kettle with packages for making tea and coffee. The staff generally was very friendly and supportive. The bed was okay.

The hotel was clean and had good value for money! It was a short ten minute cycle into town. There was a great breakfast buffet with a lovely view to the fields.Thank you for a lovely stay!

Good location for Zwolle visit, even if outside center (car needed). Good bed and shower.
